New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Meridian Windows and Doors San Jose pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.

Windows & Doors Before & After in San Jose, CA
Most window and patio door companies tell you what they’ll do. We’d rather show you. The photos below are actual jobs from San Jose neighborhoods: Willow Glen, Almaden, Berryessa, Cambrian. Each one started with a specific problem, a written price, and a crew that showed up on time. The results speak louder than any brochure. A meridian is a fixed line you measure everything against – that is what the name means and how we run every install.
Recent Transformations
Single-Hung to Double-Hung Replacement in Willow Glen
Before
AfterThe old windows had single-strength glass that fogged every winter morning, and two sashes that had been painted shut since the Clinton administration. We pulled the frames, corrected the rough opening with new flashing, and set PGT double-hungs with low-E glass (a thin coating that reflects heat while letting light through). The homeowner can now open both sashes for cross-breeze, which matters when June hits and Willow Glen bakes. Written price up front, job done in two days.
Sliding Patio Door to French Door in Almaden Valley
Before
AfterThe slider had a track full of grit, a handle that required two hands and a prayer, and a gap at the bottom wide enough to let ants march through in formation. We tore out the old track, reframed the opening for a Therma-Tru French door, and hung it with adjustable hinges so it swings true and seals tight. The difference in sound is the first thing you notice – Almaden is quiet, and now the house actually hears it. That install is covered in writing for 365 days; if it fails, we come back at no charge.
Fogged Insulated Glass Replacement in Berryessa
Before
AfterFogging between panes means the seal failed and the insulating gas is gone. That window is doing nothing but holding a cloud. In this Berryessa home, three south-facing windows had gone foggy from years of direct sun cooking the seals. We replaced the glass packs with ECO Window Systems units, kept the existing frames where they were sound, and saved the homeowner the cost of full replacement. Most single-window replacements like this run $600 to $1,200 installed, depending on glass package and frame condition. The new units clear the view and drop the heat load in that room noticeably.
Noise Reduction Window Package in Downtown San Jose

Living near the light rail or a busy street means glass is your only defense against noise. This downtown condo had original aluminum windows that transmitted every bus, siren, and 2 a.m. conversation. We replaced them with CGI windows using laminated glass, which uses a plastic interlayer between panes to cut sound transmission dramatically. The homeowner’s first reaction was to check whether the street had closed. More light, less noise, a clean install – that is the tagline because that is the result.
Full-Frame Window Replacement in Cambrian

Retrofit windows slip into existing frames. Full-frame replacement means pulling everything to the studs, which is what this 1970s Cambrian house needed – the original frames had dry rot at the sills from decades of sprinkler overspray. We replaced all 12 windows with CWS units, new flashing, new trim, and primed every exposed surface before the finish coat. A full-frame job like this typically runs $15,000 to $30,000 for a whole house, depending on window count and frame repair. The price went on paper before any work started, and it did not move at the door.
Egress Window Addition in Rose Garden

Converting a basement or attic to a bedroom means the window must meet egress code: minimum opening size, sill height, and clear area. This Rose Garden home had a small hopper window that was nowhere near compliant. We cut the opening larger, installed an ES Windows egress unit, and pulled the permit so the inspection record is clean. In San Jose, unpermitted egress work gets flagged at resale, so doing it right the first time matters. That is The Garrison Code: no shortcuts, no “it will be fine.”
